For over 25 years, Ossining Little League Football has had a rich history and tradition in training young men and women to play football.
Safe and Age-Appropriate Playing
We provide playing opportunities for everyone from beginners to experienced players. Each player is placed in a division based on their grade in September. OLLF often serves as a feeder program into our modified and high school programs.
All students from within our districts as well as surrounding towns are invited to play OLLF.
Child Safety is Our Priority
All coaches, assistant coaches, and any volunteers in direct contact with players have completed a criminal background check and child abuse clearances.
All Coaches are USA Football Certified
We are committed to player safety. All coaches are properly trained and certified by USA Football to provide the best development experience in our players while reducing the risk of injuries. We teach Heads Up Footballâ„ , the new standard for football leagues that is focused on four key areas: coach education safe tackling concussion awareness proper equipment fitting. This teaching model provides our coaches with the right materials and teaching techniques for different age groups.
Commitment
Football is considered one of the most rewarding, yet demanding of all little league sports. A commitment to our practice and game schedule is required. The success of the program is driven by the level of support delivered by our coaches, players, parents, volunteers, and the community.
Introducing the basics of football to the youngest of athletes, children are taught in a safe, supervised, and controlled environment. Games are intra-league so they only play against other children within the OLLF flag league.
Taking flag to the next level, our 2nd-grade flag team is a travel team. All games are played against other towns within the Westchester Youth Football League.
This is the stepping stone out of flag and into full-contact football. Having fun and playing time are the cornerstone of this program. We emphasize learning the fundamentals of tackle football including player safety, blocking, tackling, and organized plays.
Building on the 3/4 tackle program, players in full-contact football learn more advaced plays at a higher level of competition.
